Post-Degree Training in Biomedical Computing

The ICSC National Research Centre for High Performance Computing is launching the “RE-TRAIN-ME Initiative” a training program in Biomedical Computing. The program aims to address the growing demand for experts in medical informatics, bioinformatics, biomedical data science, and in silico medicine by offering specialized training to individuals with a master's degree in various disciplines (biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, physics, informatics, engineering, mathematics, human and veterinary medicine, chemistry, materials science, astronomy, natural sciences, and statistical science). No specific training in biomedical computing is demanded.

For the year 2023/24, the four participating organisations:

·HPC High Performance Computing, CINECA supercomputing Centre

· COMBINE Group, University of Catania

· Concept Lab, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia

· Laboratorio di Tecnologia Medica, Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli

will fund a total of ten scholarships
