======================================================= The DECI-10 call for PRACE Tier-1 resources is now open         http://www.prace-ri.eu/DECI-10-Call =======================================================
The closing date for applications is 14th December 2012, 12:00 CET. Successful projects are allocated resources for a period of 1 year from 1st May, 2013 to 30th April, 2014.
DECI (Distributed European Computing Initiative) enables European researchers to gain cross-national access to European Tier-1 resources (national systems) regardless of their country of origin or employment and to enhance the impact of European science and technology at the highest level. Proposals must deal with complex, demanding, innovative simulations that would not be possible without Tier-1 access.
IBM Blue Gene/Q, Cray XE and Cascade, and a range of large clusters including GPU resources will be made available from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.
Please note that, in addition to offering access to computing resources, applications-enabling and porting assistance from experts at the leading European HPC centres is offered.
Please see http://www.prace-ri.eu/DECI-Projects for examples of previously successful projects.
All DECI proposals should be submitted by email to [email protected] using the standard DECI proposal template available at http://www.prace-ri.eu/DECI-10-Call. The DECI support team is available to answer questions by email while the call is open and applicants are encouraged to contact us if they have any questions.
