End of production for PLX and launch of GALILEO

Dear users,
we are happy to announce the important upgrade of our Tier-1 (X86 based) system. The present system (PLX) will be substituted by GALILEO, a large IBM cluster with an expected linpack performance of about 1 PFlops. The switchover will take place at the end of January 2015. All running projects on PLX and EURORA will be moved to the new platform. More details will follow.
