Dear users,
in order to ensure EURORA PBS scheduler to have a complete job control and track all the Intel MPI processes, a wrapper for the IntelMPI mpirun command has been generated and will be accessible once the intelmpi module is loaded. The wrapper replaces the original mpirun and inherits the same name, so that no change in your submission scripts is required if you intend to use CPUs and GPUs.
The mpirun wrapper cannot instead be used to run parallel applications on MIC nodes. In such cases you need to launch your applications with the command mpirun.mic, and a change of your batch scripts is required. Please refer to our Quick Guide of Intel MIC Usage for further information.
