  4. Leonardo maintenance update

Dear users,
the login nodes of Leonardo have been reopened to public access. The DCGP partition is now in full production, while the Booster partition will be partially reopened later, at 6PM CEST. The remaining nodes will be brought to production gradually within tomorrow.
As the login nodes have been rebooted with a new image, it is possible that you may encounter the “REMOTE HOST IDENTIFiCATION ERROR” when you attempt the login. You can solve it by following the instructions in our Userguide: https://docs.hpc.cineca.it/faq.html#access-and-login

After this maintenance, Slurm on Leonardo has been upgraded to version 23.11 . You can find the release notes at this link: https://www.schedmd.com/slurm-version-23-11-0-is-now-available/

We also remind you about the new version of the software stack that is now in production. The default version of the modules available in our stack refers to the newest software version installed. The old stack is no longer visible under base or domain profile through “module” command, and anyone who wants to continue using it must load the needed module specifying its version.
You can inspect the complete old software stack through “modmap -c archive” command or a specific old module with “modmap -m <module>” command.

Best regards,
