Leonardo: slurm upgrade on August 18 and end of maintenance operations

Dear Users,
we are pleased to inform you that all activities related to the SMCX stack upgrade were successfully completed last Friday August 14, with no service disruption.
We will now proceed with the upgrade of the Slurm controller and database daemons on the updated management platform to version 25.05 tomorrow, August 18.
This operation will require a few hours of downtime for the Slurm controller, starting at 08:00 AM. During this time window:
– Job submission will not be available.
– Queue status queries will not be possible.
– Running jobs will continue uninterrupted and will not be affected.

We will notify you as soon as the upgrade has been completed and the services are fully available again.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
