Leonardo: today’s ongoing partial unavailability (March 17th) and upcoming maintenance (March 25th)

Dear Users,

we would like to inform you about two upcoming events affecting the Leonardo system:

Today, March 17th – Ongoing Partial Unavailability

Due to site operations at the facility, Leonardo is experiencing a partial downtime starting from 7:00 AM CET today. Approximately 25% of the Booster partition is currently offline until the end of the operations.
The rest of the cluster remains available; however, the reduced number of nodes may lead to increased waiting times for job execution on the Booster partition.
Login nodes, filesystem, and datamover services remain available. Full system availability is expected to be restored within the afternoon.

March 25th – Scheduled Maintenance

Leonardo will undergo scheduled maintenance starting at 9:00 AM. The system is expected to return to full production within the afternoon of the same day.
Login nodes will be temporarily unavailable only at the beginning of the maintenance, while datamover services will remain available throughout.
