Dear users,
 
as regards PLX budgeting rules please note that:
 
1-the billing is based on elapsed time and the effective number of cores reserved (not used!) by the batch job.
Remember the number of cores that will be effectively reserved is calculated taking into consideration the cores request and the memory request.
 
2- if you reserve a node by using the following PBS keyword in the batch file
 
#PBS -l place=free:excl
 
then (elapsed time * 12 cores) hours will be charged even if you have requested fewer cores using the “ncpus” keyword.
