Leonardo $SCRATCH slowdowns

Apologies for the double posting, this is to clarify that the $SCRATCH slowdowns ONLY affect the scratch filesystem on LEONARDO.

Dear Users,

As you may have noticed, temporary slowdowns can occur in certain areas of the Leonardo $SCRATCH filesystem. These slowdowns are due to temporary overloads that randomly affect the storage servers. Despite various efforts, the issue has not yet been resolved. Therefore, for I/O intensive applications, we recommend using the $WORK area until the problem is resolved.
