Dear users and colleagues,
if you are interested in profiling your parallel application to improve performances on exascale hardwares, attend this seminar on TAU toolkit (http://tau.uoregon.edu) and E4S delivered by Prof. Shende, the leader developer and director of ParaTools.
Prof. Shende from University of Oregon will show how TAU can be used on CINECA’s platforms to instrument applications with no change in the binary, and how it supports profiling and tracing of a large number of HPC runtimes – such as MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, OpenACC, Kokkos, pthread and oneAPI DPC++ – together with I/O operations, communication and memory footprint.
The seminar addresses the use of TAU as part of E4S, a comprehensive stack for scientific software which enables, through Spack and containers, the flexible use and testing of HPC packages, thus accelerating the development of highly-parallel applications on diverse architectures, including GPUs from Intel, AMD and NVIDIA.
The seminar will be held online on Thursday, May 19 at 15.30, and in person at Pico della Mirandola room (CINECA’s staff members only).
