The Organizing Committee is delighted to announce the upcoming Fourth Edition of the Summer School on Computational Fluid Dynamics & SuperComputing, scheduled to take place at the Gran Sasso Institute, L’Aquila (Italy) from July 6th to July 11th, 2025.

The primary objective of the school is to acquaint participants with contemporary concepts in Computational Fluid Dynamics, with a specific focus on the implementation of high-fidelity methodologies (such as Large Eddy Simulation and Direct Numerical Simulation) on massively parallel, heterogeneous supercomputing platforms, encompassing both CPUs and GPUs.

Internationally renowned scientists will deliver the courses, covering a diverse array of topics including turbulent flows, compressible flows, machine learning and wind energy, also in the presence of geometrical complexity. Additionally, advanced discussions on emerging computer paradigms will be included.

Each lecture will be complemented by dedicated tutorial hands-on sessions, leveraging remote High-Performance Computing (HPC) facilities, with free access provided to participants.

The course is mainly targeted to PhD/post-doctoral researchers, but early-stage researchers will also certainly benefit.

The School is a fully in-person event.
