Weather emergency CINECA UPDATE: week update on Marconi/G100/ADA CLOUD

Dear users,

We are writing to update you about the unavailability of Marconi, G100, and ADA Cloud systems affected by the weather emergency of October 20th. We confirm what was stated in previous news:

The recovery operations are ongoing, and we expect to begin the restore of the first services starting from the week of November 18–24.

Please remember that, as a consequence of this disservice, it is currently not possible to add new projects and/or new collaborators to a project from UserDB into our HPC systems, including Leonardo. Also, at present operations such as budget increase or expiration delays can not be propagated to the cluster and will take effect after the service will be restored.

Finally, we would like to inform you that for G100 and Marconi, the cleaning of the SCRATCH and deletion of the WORK area of projects that reach the six months deadline, will be postponed. Projects expired during the downtime will also be extended accordingly, for all systems involved.
