Mencagli Mattia
He acquired HPC competencies during the master’s in astrophysics and PhD in SISSA. He mastered those competencies during the MHPC in the second year of his PhD. His scientific work was to develop a GPU N-body code that can run on GPU clusters (e.g. Leonardo). Now he works at Cineca with various European researchers to accelerate their codes using GPUs (through CUDA, OpenACC, NCCL, etc...).
