Romeo Alessandro

Alessandro got his bachelor’s degree in Physics at Messina University, then a master's degree in Astronomy at Padova University and finally he obtained the PhD in Astronomy at Bologna University, where he worked mainly in performing cosmological simulations for 21 cm radiation weak gravitational lensing. He have been teaching Optics, Physics, Statistics and Aberrometry at Istituto B. Zaccagnini in Bologna and Milano. He also worked with Forma Mentis srls as tutor in physics, math and IT for high school and university students and as COO/scientific supervisor for “App-Rendo” AI driven application. He currently works as a HPC specialist in Cineca within the Space-CoE, on profiling astrophysical, cosmological and plasma physics simulations involved in the project and optimizing their GPU porting.
