Turra Roberta

Roberta graduated in Economic Statistics at the University of Bologna in 1991 and has been working at Cineca since 1994 as a data scientist, developing data mining applications for retail, insurance, manufacturing and telecom companies and for the Italian Revenue Agency. She developed information extraction and semantic annotation tools for the analysis of textual documents in different languages and in different application domains. She participated to several National and European funded research projects.

She is responsible of the Data Analytics team. The group supports research and innovation by assisting users in the development and optimization of Machine Learning applications.
