EBRAINS 2.0

EBRAINS 2.0 is the EU-funded project focused on brain research, and it is the follow-up of the previous HBP-SGA3 EU-funded project. The main goals are to develop and deploy digital services and tools to support the neuroscience community in multidisciplinary brain research, and foster the development of digital twin approaches.
EBRAINS 2.0 aims to maintain and update the EBRAINS platform to serve neuroscience communities by establishing new standard for brain atlases and gathering and connect multimodal neuroscientific and clinical data.
In continuation with the activities of HBP-SGA3, researchers will implement digital services and tools, providing models of new brain regions and supporting the Data Curation process of the community, with the aim of facilitating the development of more effective treatments, new drugs, diagnostics and preventive measures for neuro-psychiatric disorders.
CINECA is providing HPC, Cloud and Storage resources to guarantee the implementation phase and the regular deployment of digital services, supporting the community in co-design activities, and contributing to the analysis of new technology solutions, in close collaboration with other HPC partners involved in the project.
